Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Cream sugar and butter
Add beaten eggs, flour, buttermilk, soda, cocoa, and EVOO
Add hot water, mix, and stir in vanilla
Pour into 6 rose molds and remainder into an 8 x 8 pan
Bake for approximately 30 minutes
Notes
Cake doesn’t need to be iced and freezes well.
