Cindy Pace Williams

Cindy Pace Williams (the “Aunt”) is a proud Texan — is there any other kind?!

Cindy and her husband Barry live (along with a labradoodle, a rescue lab mix and a very plump orange cat) in the Hill Country. Her obsession with Texas-born food and hospitality in all its unique forms is the genesis for Texicureans.

Born and raised in Austin, she also spent many weekends and summer days helping with her grandmother’s farm and ranch operation in Dime Box, Texas.

Cindy holds a BBA from Texas State University where she was a member of the acclaimed Texas State Strutters dance troop.

Now a dedicated Crossfitter, she loves to work out so she can enjoy good Texas food and play chase with her two “above average” grandchildren. She loves her family and friends, her community, her church and any opportunity to hostess a gathering thereof!

Through recipes and dinner conversation, traditions are passed from generation to generation. Texas culture is deep and diverse – this is the journey that prompted Texicureans.

Emily Williams

Emily Williams (the “Niece”) is a fightin’ Texas Aggie living in the melting pot of Austin, Texas. Along with a dynamic career in software sales, Emily has a passion for food and connecting with people from different backgrounds.

You might find Emily and her fluffy white dog Aspen hiking the Austin Greenbelt or maybe dipping into a local swimming hole. She’s also made it a goal to try out a new restaurant at least once a week in Austin — a great escape from her comfort zone that has really expanded her palate.

As a lifelong foodie, Texicureans for Emily is a catalyst for stories shared, traditions uncovered, recipes revealed, and Texas culture celebrated.
